In 2020, Amy died from soft tissue sarcoma. She was 39 years old.

Amy was a remarkable woman and faced everything thrown at her with courage and determination. Throughout her illness she remained an incredible mother to her young son and continued to work as a GP, dedicating herself to her patients. Her strength, selflessness and love for our family continue to inspire her friends and family every day.

A loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, colleague, and doctor she has left us with many a lesson in life and will never be forgotten.
