Derek was a world-famous trumpet player, who was renowned for playing the James Bond soundtracks, and numerous recordings worldwide.

His wife and family remember him by taking part in challenges, such as the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100, and events organised by the Super Cs a group who raise funds in his name. DVDs and CDs of his wonderful memorial concert are still available through Dereks website, with proceeds donated to his fund.
