On New Year's Eve 2020, after developing a very rare sarcoma cancer and only 6 months from her diagnosis, Helen Nuding (nee Prendergast) passed away surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was the type of person who brought light and love into the lives of everyone who met her. She would make friends everywhere she went, whether at work as a nurse, through her children or even during chance encounters with strangers; she always left a lasting impression on those lucky enough to cross her path.

She had a zest for life; she was kind and fun, caring and interesting, a great friend, a brilliant listener, a caring nurse, an adored wife and a loving mother. Helen is missed by her family and friends every day.
