Lee was diagnosed with Liposarcoma in April 2015. He remained positive about his illness and his treatment but died 6 January 2018.

He will be remembered as a kind and positive person and is missed every day by family and his many friends.

Lee's mother, Sue, nominated Sarcoma UK as the Charity of the Year for the M&S store where she works. The store raised over £13,000, more than they had ever done for a single charity. The night culminated in a charity football match against another store at Leicester City's football ground.
