In September 2024, Oliver passed away following a long and hard battle with sarcoma, during this battle Oliver fought bravely and courageously, he inspired us all and still continues to.

Oliver’s illness doesn’t define him, his strength, resilience and courage to go on does. Oliver was an incredible footballer, an intelligent and funny boy who wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything, he was and always will be loved by everyone who knew him.

Oliver's family have chosen to support Sarcoma UK after the care they received throughout Oliver's treatment and beyond. Sarcoma UK and their Support Line gave the Owen family hope, a shoulder to cry on and advise on how to navigate this oncology world.

This is all to honour Oliver and to keep his Legacy alive.

Donations made towards the Oliver Owen Fund will help researchers find answers specifically into synovial sarcoma, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
